Arbitration and Mediation

Our firm offers highly qualified arbitrators and mediators. Arbitration and mediation are two forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) commonly used to resolve disagreements more quickly and economically than they could through protracted and often costlier courthouse litigation.

Mediation presents a rich opportunity to resolve disputes, whether suit has been filed or is about to be filed. Our firm's mediation practice encompasses referrals from Texas courts in Collin, Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, Kaufman, and Rockwall counties. More commonly, however, the parties select us, knowing they will be treated fairly and professionally. Our offices are centrally located and designed for either two-party or multiple-party mediations.

Our ADR attorneys also conduct binding arbitration proceedings when the parties to a dispute cannot reach an acceptable compromise.

Generally our attorneys conduct mediations and arbitrations at our office in downtown Dallas but have also conducted them at other offices in the metroplex, out of town, and even out of the country.

Former Judge Bob Jenevein heads the Firm's ADR section.  He started mediating in 1994 and now mediates at least 100 cases each year. As a veteran panelist for (1) the American Arbitration Association, (2) the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, (3) Judicial Workplace Arbitrations, and (4) CPR Dispute Resolution Services, and an arbitration advocate who has won over $70 million in arbitration awards for his own clients, Judge Jenevein has the perspective that only comes from experience.  As a result of his success as a mediator and an arbitrator, he has been recognized by the National Association of Distinguished Neutrals.

Bryan Pope is a frequent mediator and has been for more than 20 years. Bryan is board certified in civil trial law and personal injury trial law and has experience mediating a vast array of cases including construction matters, business divorces, employment cases, and many other types of business and tort-based litigation.

David Kleiman offers the deep skills and knowledge to assist with arbitration and mediation. David has arbitrated both large and small cases, mostly in the construction industry, for almost 20 years. Similarly, David has broad experience in residential and commercial construction. He has served as an arbitrator on a range of complex construction cases.
