Jamey Newberg has represented companies and individuals in state and federal courts throughout the State of Texas in a variety of matters pertaining to claims of premises liability, transportation liability, construction site accidents, banking and finance law, real estate litigation, education law, general negligence, intentional torts, and commercial disputes.
Jamey is also an Adjunct Professor in SMU’s Simmons School of Education & Human Development, teaching a semester-long course called Legal & Ethical Aspects of Sport & Fitness.
For more than 20 years, Jamey has also maintained a multi-media sportswriting presence with his coverage of the Texas Rangers Baseball Club, first independently and then, in 2018, joining the Dallas bureau of The Athletic, a nationwide sports website. He has published 20 annual books about the Rangers.
